Lover of Coffee and Chocolate
Serena Gordon races for the Liv Racing Collective and has been racing professionally for more than a decade. Specializing in gravel and mountain bike racing, she is a great descender and understands the importance of the details when it comes to off-road performance. Serena has twice finished 2nd at the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder, taking two stage wins in 2021, and was among the top female pros at FireCracker 50 and Leadville 100 in 2021. She even took the overall win (beating all the men) at this year’s Ochoco Roubaix. She has been on the podium at Rebecca’s Private Idaho Queen Stage Race, Lost & Found Gravel, The Rad Dirt Fest, Carson City Off-Road, Marathon Mountain Bike Nationals, and countless other events.
Serena lives in Bend with her husband, Ben, and medium-sized pup, Piper, and loves her morning coffee almost as much as she loves riding her bike. She is stoked to share what she knows with others and elevate women in the sport of gravel racing!

Yuri Hauswald grew up on a farm in rural Petaluma, CA without a tv, which meant he spent plenty of time outdoors roaming the hills looking for adventure when he wasn’t doing his ranch chores. After a successful collegiate career playing lacrosse for UC Berkeley, and armed with a degree in American Literature, Yuri discovered the joys of mountain biking while teaching English at a prep school in Pennsylvania, and hasn’t looked back since. A former two-time solo winner of the 24-Hours of Adrenaline and 9th place finisher at the 2006 24-Hour World Championships, Yuri’s crisscrossed the country seeking out his next two-wheeled trip. He turned pro at the tender age of 36, won the 2015 Unbound when he was 44, and is currently obsessed with everything gravel.
Endurance athlete, cyclist, bike mechanic, dog mom; Lover of whiskey, coffee, cold creeks, and the smell of sage
Evelyn started her endurance career as an elite level Nordic skier, dabbling 50k trail runs and afternoon mountain bike rides. She quickly discovered her love and ability on the mountain bike and made the transition from snow to trail - quickly finding success at any off-road event she lined up for. Evelyn loves to climb, and descend, and smiles no matter what the terrain throws her way. Evelyn has won more mountain bike and gravel races that we can count on our fingers and our toes, competed on the World Cup MTB circuit, stood on the USA Nationals XC podium numerous times, is a current contender in the Lifetime Grand Prix Series.
Why I’m excited for SBG?
Mostly because I’m excited when Serena gets excited about something! Also getting more women confident on bikes is pretty cool.
