The town of Dufur is a small farming community steeped in Oregon history, with gravel roads and breathtaking views that will welcome you on every turn.

The airport for Bend is actually in Redmond (RDM).  Bend has a small municipal airport for private planes.  Redmond has the only commercial airport.

Travel time from Redmond Airport to Dufur is under 2 hours.  Even though Portland airport is about an hour and 45 minutes with traffic, ultimately it is faster to get from Redmond to Dufur because Redmond airport is so small that you will literally walk through it, grab your bag, and rental car in less than 15 minutes total.  PDX you won't even make it to baggage claim in that time.

The downside to Redmond is limited flights and averages about $50 to $75 more per round trip ticket.

Our camp hotel is the Historic Balch Hotel, a boutique inn and spa, which will serve as our home base for rides, seminars, and meals.

Founded in 1908, the hotel has been updated with a focus on sustainable practices of eco-hospitality, supportive community, and creating a more luscious and delightful world.
